In their works, the Dutch artist Aimée de Jongh ("Days of Sand"), the Frenchwoman Lauraine Meyer ("Feminists in Progress"), the Spaniard Nuría Tamarit ("Toubab – Two Coins"), and the Swiss artist Nando von Arb ("Learning to Fear") – nominated for the Max und Moritz Award – convey realistic themes with a lot of creativity and imagination.
