Adrian vom Baur

Born 1985 in Munich, the freelance illustrator, comic artist and author Adrian vom Baur lives and works in Berlin. 2019 his comic volume "Die Toten: Isar Palace" was published with Zwerchfell Verlag, where he also published "Hipsters", the now concluded webcomic (2014). As a publisher in his own right, he edits and produces the annual comic anthology "JAZAM!", its final volume titled "Coming of Age" in 2023. This volume contains a 25-page long Fantasy adventure comic by vom Baur called "Murkis großer Tag". Some of his short comics were published under the JAZAM! imprint as well: "48 Stunden Angst" (2013), "Liebe & Monster" (2015) and "Monsterparty" (2018). He also works as a coloring assistant for other creators, e.g. Oliva Vieweg with "Endzeit", Katja Klengel's "Girlsplaining" and the Spiegel-bestselling books "Paluten Freedem: Der Golemkönig" and "GermanLetsPlay: Im Wirbel der Welten". An an illustrator he also works for video games ("Angry Birds Epic") and animation ("NICHTLUSTIG" by Joscha Sauer, "HNO-WG" and other works by Ruthe).
