Born in Swabia, I still really love Laugeweggla to this day, but after graduating from high school I was drawn to the cheerful Rhineland. In Cologne I initially studied art history, musicology and German, but quickly realized that I wanted to be hands-on in all three arts. So I enrolled at the Cologne University of Music and a mere ten years later I marched out of “my Muho” with a diploma. This was followed by a two-year interlude in Leipzig with freelance work as a singing teacher, ear training and harmony theory. This is also where I became a mother for the first time. Back in Cologne, after I had my second child, I began illustrating and got my first paid illustration job, which I still celebrate as a recurring engagement to this day. Little by little, more illustration jobs as well as workshop work for various providers and age groups were added, but I didn't want to rest on these very nice beginnings and so my need to learn led me to ecosign in Cologne, where I am currently studying illustration.
Last year some of my work was exhibited at the Federal Ministry for the Environment. This was preceded by a Germany-wide competition with the aim of developing new images on the subject of energy efficiency. This spring I had the pleasure of exhibiting at the Cöln Comic Haus and staging my comic in a reading.
