Elisabeth Donoughue

Born in 1966 in the Allgäu, lives in Munich. Studies and doctorate in literature and history. Teacher at Bavarian secondary schools, now a consultant for literature promotion and cultural education at the Bavarian Ministry of the Arts. Since 2014 she has been working on illustrated stories with a focus on family history and autobiographical themes. Participation in the Comic Seminar Erlangen 2017 and 2018 (with Birgit Weyhe and Flix), Irseer Kunstsommer Meisterklasse Comic 2021 (Barbara Yelin) and 2023 (Barbara Yelin and Tamara Bach), mentorships with Elisabeth Schickling, Thomas Heiber, Barbara Yelin.
