Born 1967 in Gießen, lives in Berlin. The morbid master of horror was born during a thunderstorm - naturally, he has devoted himself to the creation of classic horror in all dimensions ever since. Already for EEE, Rainer F. Engel drew horror stories in the style of the old US horror anthologies such as Creepy or Eerie. In comics, he has been particularly active in recent years for the Horrorschocker series (Weissblech Comics), where, in addition to many illustrations and covers, he has also drawn or inked some longer stories such as "Blutige Sümpfe", "Krappok" and recently "Zu Spät!". His services have been used by Rolling Stone magazine, Subkultur Entertainment, Media Target, the bands "White Trash Wankers", "The Curse" and "The Other", among others. The horror specialist has been working regularly with "Nekromantik" creator Jörg Buttgereit for years, including on the cover of the DVD "JB's Monsters of Arthouse" and on the successful "Captain Berlin" comics by Weissblech Comics. Recent publications can be found in the Captain Berlin series and in Horrorschocker #59.
