Frank Freund began his comics career in the environment of his former American football club. After various role-playing illustrations and independent comics, the short stories "Home, sweet Monster Home" (Ehapa special edition) and "Urlaub in Paris" (in the revived comic magazine ZACK) were published in 1999. Further short stories by the eggheads followed in ZACK magazine. In addition to his funny comics, Frank also draws realistic picture stories such as "Untergang von Tramp" and "Gestrandet" (in the PERRY comics). The story "Ostsee" by the author team S. Korff-Knoblauch/A. Völlinger was published in 2021 by Zwerchfell Verlag in the zombie comic anthology DIE TOTEN.
