Jil Huss is an illustrator and designer with a passion for storytelling. The direction her life would take was clear from her primary school days, when she used the breaks to give the other children lessons in manga drawing. After school, motivated to prove her maths teacher wrong who always said she'd need maths for any job, she studied Communication Design at the HTWG Constance. During her bachelor's degree, she had the opportunity to dabble in a wide range of topics, from corporate design to stop-motion animation to web design. But illustration stayed her main focus. She got the chance to work on the etiquettes for "The Vegan Saucery", which won a Red Dot Award for packaging design in 2022, during her internship semester at Ansichtssache in Munich. Currently she’s in her second semester at the THWS Würzburg, doing her Master’s in Design and Information. When she’s not drawing, you can find her reading, playing "Dungeons and Dragons" or scrolling on Tik Tok for ungodly amounts of time.
