Falko Kutz
- Weissblech ComicsHall B, Stand52
Falko Kutz, born in Schwedt and raised in the Harz Mountains, has been reading comics since his earliest childhood. Starting with Hannes Hegen's MOSAIK and "Karl Gabel's Sämtliche Weltraumabenteuer" by Erich Schmitt, he discovered American superheroes and German indie comics at the end of the 1990s. Despite not being able to draw a straight line on paper due to a lack of talent, Falko Kutz published his first comic in 2016: he wrote the script for "Die Schwimmstunde", which was then translated into congenial images by horror-shocker veteran Kolja. This was the beginning of a fruitful collaboration with Weissblech mastermind Levin Kurio and various illustrators. Almost two dozen of his short stories have since been published in various comic anthologies, including Horrorschocker, Welten des Schreckens, COZMIC and FANTASY 3000. When Falko Kutz is not writing comic scenarios, he works in film accounting or as an editor, mainly editing comic translations and texts on film theory.
