Dorthe Landschulz

Dorthe Landschulz was born in Hamburg, studied illustration there and in Paris, and now lives and works as a cartoonist in Brittany. Her cartoons have appeared in publications such as Eulenspiegel, Taz, Titanic, Börsenblatt des Deutschen Buchhandels, Heute-Show-Online, Schleswig-Holsteinische Zeitung and Rheinpfalz. She has been drawing weekly for Stern magazine since 2019. In France, her cartoons have graced the front page of Le Monde, France's largest daily newspaper, on several occasions. Since September 2023, she has been one of the cartoonists for the Arte programme 28 Minuten. She regularly draws for the Saturday edition of the programme. Dorthe has published several of her own books and her cartoons have appeared in numerous anthologies. She has won several major awards for her work, including the Bronze Pencil at the German Cartoon Award 2013, third place at the German Cartoon Award 2014 and second place at the German Cartoon Award 2022.
