Alex Mage's focus is on self-published comics and zines, illustrations and prints. The personal works are mostly oriented towards internet culture, pop culture and music scene, absurdities and tristesse in work, everyday life or society. His design bachelor work was an experimentally created and self-published comic book called "Rat Boy Returns". In 2019 he created the comic "Jesuran" in collaboration with an association and students, which tells the story of a Jewish family and their escape from the Nazis in Nuremberg.
