Felice Meer
Felice Meer, born in Berlin, completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter and studied sculpture in Dresden and fine arts in Berlin. She works as a freelance sculptor and graphic designer specialising in choirs (chordesign.de), currently in a studio in the Lüneburg Heath and in Berlin. In addition to drawing comics and writing, she is passionate about long-distance hiking and pilgrimages.
Felice's superpower is telling stories in pictures. Preferably in comics, but also in her work as a graphic designer and illustrator.
Her first book was created after she spent three summers on a pilgrimage from Lüneburg Heath to Santiago de Compostela, Trondheim and Rome, drawing a comic every day along the way - "Pilgern in Bildern, eine Comiczeichnerin unterwegs".
Twice a week she posts short comics on Instagram, and during her three-month hike in Brittany this summer she will extend this practice to daily comics again. Her participation in the 24-hour comic session 2023 at Wannsee Berlin led to the graphic novel "Musikstunden, eine autofiktionale Erzählung". She is currently working on a graphic novel with the working title "Püppi und Tante" about life with a dissociative identity disorder.
