moki, born in 1982, is an artist who, in addition to her paintings, also specialises in graphic storytelling. Three comics have been published at Reprodukt: "Wandering Ghost", a coming-of-age story without words, "Sumpfland" and "Kaleidoskop" - a collection of short stories. moki regularly contributes to anthologies such as "Spring". Her affinity for unconventional storytelling can be seen, for example, in the way she dissolves classic panel formats and locates her characters in open spaces. You often find animal-like protagonists in moki's comics. The stories are mainly set in fantastical, surreal settings that are illustrated over several pages. moki also likes to work without language. In addition to numerous national and international solo exhibitions, including in Barcelona, Copenhagen, Prague, San Francisco and Los Angeles, moki has also taken part in a large number of group exhibitions, including in China and Japan.
