Bart Proost & StainlessArt GmbH Comicverlag

Bart Proost (born in 1977) is a Belgian comic book artist. In the Benelux countries he is known for his historical comic series "Alexander The Great". In Germany, however, his more graphic and poetic work is published in German by StainlessArt Verlag in Aachen. Bart is fascinated by German characters and history: in 2021 he created a graphic novel about the mysterious, legendary Nuremberg foundling Kaspar Hauser. This year he published a graphic novel about the great artist Caspar David Friedrich. This book has proved a success in German museums in the Friedrich anniversary year of 2024.
