Marie studied visual communication with a focus on illustration at the UdK in Berlin from 2015 to 2021, during which time she took a short detour to San Francisco to study animation at the California College of Arts. She currently lives and works as a freelance illustrator in Berlin, is art director for the German edition of Jacobin magazine, and plays music whenever she can. "Vage Tage" (Jaja Verlag, 2022) is her first graphic novel.
