Katrin Stangl was born in 1977 and lives and works in Cologne. She uses various techniques to illustrate her own and other people's texts. She has received several awards for her prints and illustrations. Since 2009 she is a member of the artist group SPRING. Katrin Stangl teaches drawing at the Fachhochschule Aachen and gives workshops in Germany and abroad.
