Andreas Zimmer was born in Augsburg in 1983. After completing his training as a photographer, he deepened his knowledge of communication design at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences. During his studies, he increasingly specialised in animation and illustration. During this time, Andreas created various music videos and animated films, which were presented at renowned events such as the Amadeus Award in Vienna and the Bert Brecht Festival in Augsburg. He has been based in Leipzig since 2016, where he founded the communication design agency fizzy mint together with two colleagues. There he works as a designer, illustrator and animator and looks after clients such as the DHMD and the DLA Marbach. His latest works can be viewed in his portfolio and on social media.
