Hennes Bender from Bochum is a comedian, writer and presenter - and winner of the German Comedy Award in 2004. He is small. And loud. A short firecracker that lasts a long time! He is a regular presenter on various radio programmes, on television and on German stages. In 2009, his book about the Ruhrgebiet, Komma lecker bei mir bei, was published by Ullstein. His first Asterix translation, "Tour de Ruhr" (German original "Tour de France"), published in 2016 by Egmont Comic Collection, was a huge success. And in 2018, Hennes Bender landed another real coup with his second translation, the Asterix Ruhr German volume "Dingenskirchen" ("Die Trabantenstadt" in German).
