Bernd Frenz (*1964) conducted his first interview with a comic artist in 1990 for the Bremen comic magazine "Panel". This has been followed by numerous articles in specialist magazines such as "Alfonz - der Comicreporter", "Phantastisch!" and "Reddition", and his extensive specialist knowledge also flows into the accompanying factual texts of many complete editions. For the Franco-Belgian internet portal "europecomics.com", he wrote an article on the history of German comics in English, and he also wrote the catalog text for the exhibition "30 Years of GRINGO COMICS" at the Comic Museum Erlangen. As a comic author, he writes for well-known children's licenses such as "Wickie und die starken Männer", "Dream Works Dragons" and "Eldrador Creatures", as well as crime and adventure stories for the Swedish comic magazine "Fantomen". He is also a sought-after scenarist for non-fiction comics on economic and historical topics.
