Paul Paetzel

Paul Paetzel was born in Berlin. He studied illustration at the UdK Berlin and graduated as a master student in 2012. In 2008, he founded his own publishing house, Edition Biografiktion, with Till Hafenbrak and Ana Albero. His stories and drawings often combine superhero motifs, surrealism, autobiographical content and screen printing techniques. He has been running comic workshops for children and young people since 2014 and gives training courses for teachers. He also gave workshops at schools in Erlangen in 2024 as part of "Comic macht Schule".
