Ulf K.
Ulf K., born 1969 in Oberhausen, is a comic artist and illustrator. In 2004 he was awarded the Max und Moritz Prize as "Best German-language Comic Artist" for his comic work. He has published in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and the children's magazine Gecko, among others. His most recent publications are "Geschichten von Herrn Keuner" (based on Bertolt Brecht), "Pelle und Bruno" and "Neue Geschichten von Vater und Sohn" (with Marc Lizano). His children's book illustrations (Ulf K. illustrates Ralph Caspers' books, among others) were awarded the Kinderbuchpreis des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen in 2009. With author Patrick Wirbeleit, he created the adventure horror series for children "Alan C. Wilder Ltd.". Ulf K. regularly gives workshops for children and lives with his family in Düsseldorf.
