With the comic “Dragman” about a superhero in female attire, Steven Appleby found great success and won the Max und Moritz Award for Best International Comic in 2022. Apart from his work as a caricaturist and illustrator, he also contributed to a few animated short films as author and artist: “Reality Controller”, “Small Birds Singing”, “How to Destroy the World: Rubbish”, “How to Catch Flu”, “Bob Bobbin and the Christmas Stocking” and “Captain Star: Written in the Stars” – all promise a diverse programme, full of humour and absurdity.
