Workshop with Richard Briggs (in Englisch)
Richard will demonstrate how to create large-scale drawings on walls or floors. The use of adhesive tape will encourage participants to think in a very simple way about lines and shapes to create interesting compositions. The workshop is interactive and will teach how to create dynamic drawings using this approach, which equally engage with surrounding environments and people, resulting in unique street scenes.
Attendance at the workshop is by prior registration only, until Wednesday, 29 May via email to erika.leer@stadt.erlangen.de. A fee of 15,00 Euro (con. 7,50 Euro) will be charged. Registration is binding – if participation becomes impossible at short notice, please notify us. A waiting list will be maintained, allowing individuals to move up if necessary. The participation fee will be collected in cash at the Info Point in the Urban Sketching Village at Hugenottenplatz: Please arrive 15 minutes before the workshop begins at the Info Point. If the fee has not been paid by five minutes before the workshop starts, the spot will be given to a person on the waiting list.
Please note! From Thursday, 30 May registrations (and cancellations) via email will no longer be considered. From Thursday, 30 May to Sunday, 2 June this can only be done either via the info phone (+49 179 9020489) or on-site, at the Info Point in the Village.
