Workshop with Rob Sketcherman (in English)
Dip your toe into digital urban sketching and learn how to use your iPad, Apple Pencil and Procreate to capture the world around you.
Rob Sketcherman has gone 100% digital for the last 10 years, and in this workshop, introduces the basics of using Procreate. Through a series of demonstrations & exercises, participants learn how the app works, recommended brushes to begin with, and most importantly, key digital workflows and tips for using this mobile kit for drawing on location. All levels welcome!
You will need an iPad with a stylus and the Procreate app for the workshop. The workshop takes place outdoors – a camping stool, water and sun protection are recommended.
Attendance at the workshop is by prior registration only, until Wednesday, 29 May via email to erika.leer@stadt.erlangen.de. A fee of 15,00 Euro (con. 7,50 Euro) will be charged. Registration is binding – if participation becomes impossible at short notice, please notify us. A waiting list will be maintained, allowing individuals to move up if necessary. The participation fee will be collected in cash at the Info Point in the Urban Sketching Village at Hugenottenplatz: Please arrive 15 minutes before the workshop begins at the Info Point. If the fee has not been paid by five minutes before the workshop starts, the spot will be given to a person on the waiting list.
