Gin Zarbo has a lifelong passion for manga, which she has shared with her sister Ban Zarbo since early childhood. Her favourite artists include Makoto Yukimura, Kohei Horikoshi, Yusuke Murata and Gamon Sakurai. She made her self-publishing debut in 2014 with the doujinshi "Cope Soul". Then, between 2017 and 2019, "Undead Messiah" was published by Tokyopop and immediately catapulted Gin into the top 10 of the charts. Since the end of 2019, she has a contract with altraverse and is working on "The Secret of Scarecrow". The fourth volume was published in July 2023, and the story has also been published in Swedish since 2022 and in Italian since April 2024. Her work won the AnimaniA Award for "Best National Manga" for "The Secret of Scarecrow" in 2021.
