The perspective of a linguist and marketing expert on visual storytelling: Texts in comics accompany them "verbally," akin to illustrations to texts, almost mirrored. Accordingly, the question arises of how such concise texts can remain easily readable and understandable, especially when gendering is desired. In fact, the German language offers various opportunities: To focus on these beyond inhibiting "special characters" like "*_/I:" etc., is the goal of this contribution.
